To evoke the blend, Paris-born illustrator Ugo Gattoni conjured a large-scale dreamscape that captures the meticulous attention to detail that is essential to the Master Blender's craft. Hennessy Master Blender's Selection No. 2 Cognac is the second in a series, the result of a passion project initiated by former Hennessy Master Blender Yann Fillioux. They are unique Cognacs of limited supply, never to be duplicated. The Eau-de-vie are aged at least 10 years and were each aged for 18 months in young coarse-grained French oak barrels before being transferred to old barrels for additional aging. The second batch of the Master Blender's Selection innovative line. Aged in 100% young and coarse-grained French oak barrels, this 43% cognac releases a distinct personality, a strong character with a rounded finish. It contains hints of vanilla with strong, spicy aromas of nutmeg.
